    Depending on his weight that could be quite a high dose of ivermectin (the normal dose is 0.2mg/kg) but that seems like an extreme reaction.

    I see four possibilities:

    • He’s very light weight and sensitive to the drug
    • He’s having an allergic reaction
    • He actually did have a parasite infection and he’s having a Mazzotti reaction.
    • The company that sold it didn’t mix the drugs properly before compounding them and overdosed the pills.

        Never heard of it so probably not a great recreational drug. Oooh Wikipedia confirms

        Mebendazole sometimes causes diarrhea, abdominal pain, and elevated liver enzymes. In rare cases, it has been associated with a dangerously low white blood cell count, low platelet count, and hair loss,[14][15] with a risk of agranulocytosis in rare cases.
