People will complain to their heart’s content and then happily plonk down $80 for the next big digital only game release. Capitalism largely works the way it does because people don’t want to go without.

A SIGNIFICANT portion of people who buy video games already have already abandoned physical media and done care…
Excluding Nintendo, ~5% of total video game sales are physical media.
