This is the second comic I have seen today where somene gets consumed by an escalator, WTF???

Shoe strings would most likely break before any real harm was done, probably just make you fall on your face. Flip flops and sandals are a real danger, you can lose a toe or a chunk of your foot.
On a local emergency TV program someone got stuck with their back caught in the metal teeth at the bottom. They had to manually reverse the escalator to free him. Injuries are unlikely and rare but the chance is not zero.
Surr, you fall on your face, then it gets munched by the escalator!
That escalated quickly
I went up an escalator with my ex girlfriend a few days ago, and when we came to the top, for some reason, I picked her up and carried her over that part. But then I started wondering, why did I do that? And she just said “ok you can put me down now.”
Was she your ex at the time or was it the reason for the breakup?
Haha no, we broke up months ago, but it’s complicated I guess.
