Yeah I was 15 when I worked my first retail job.
That’s when I learned how the world works. Everyone should have to do it.

i feel like everyone should rotate through these for the first few years in the workforce.

I was working at 13. Not fulltime obviously.
Was just talking with a coworker, last time we had 2 months off was high school, and were now in our 40s. I don’t know if I would wanted to know that information back then.
That’s why many of us really enjoyed COVID—we finally got a fucking break.
