Everyone fucking talks about it actually and I’m not a furry and hear the constant complaining online about needing a 6 figure salary to support your fur hobbies.
I have a feeling you chumps are just paying top dollar to some rare artists that are willing to sew weird shit and essentially charge fetish prices.
Unless you are extremely lucky. I managed to find a pretty good head on DealersDen website for $540USD after any PayPal fees and shipping and all that. Then ended up finding a $60USD ( before any extra fees, shipping, etc. ) pair of paws to go with it. Plus another ~$83USD on the tail I got that was finished the morning I bought it.
I know roughly $700-800USD isn’t affordable for the vast majority of people right now, but it’s a cool experience your first time putting one on… if you care about all that.
You can be your fursona alright with just skin paint and some fabric, fake hairs but you can’t afford calling oneself a cheapo on one of your biggest dreams.
Also that suit is fucking expensive. No one talks about how much it costs to be a furry these days
In all fairness, it’s in no way required to own a fursuit to be a furry. :) It’s only as expensive as you want it to be.
I read “in all furness” and I was like “it’s a furnace, Your Furness“
fursuiters are a fraction of furries. tons of us aren’t into it even if some of us could afford it
And ton of us would love to be fursuiters but alas we can’t afford it 😞
But hey, what’s life without goals lol
Some day, some day.

Fetish gear prices are also disproportionate, so I can sympathise with the furries!

What? You’re a furry? In this economy? I don’t think so!
