Today’s game is Jedi Fallen Order again. I made it really far today. I have to suspect I’m close to the end with how far I am. Then again maybe this game is freakishly long.

I scaled the origin tree or whatever it’s called and saw this absolutely gorgeous bird-looking thing. I wish they were real as I absolutely want to pet one. The feathers look so damn soft. I like that it turned out to be friendly too. I absolutely did not want to have to fight this thing.

There was also this arena segment. Which I really loved. I honestly wish this was a little bit longer because I was enjoying myself here. Plus the music track that accompanied it was great.

I made it as far as the Ninth Sister fight, where I got stuck. I gave it a few honest tries and decided I’d approach it again tomorrow. From there I think I’ll stand a better chance.
I loved this game and enjoyed its sequel! It’s the best Star Wars game I’ve played I guess.
I definitely want to try its sequel now that i buckled in and i’m close to finishing it. I may “acquire” a copy, buy a Steam Key off a reseller, or find a used copy for PS/Xbox just to keep from supporting EA though
I know people have some reasons to dislike EA, but they’ve created some really great games and some of my favorites:
Mass Effect trilogy Titanfall 2 Dead Space trilogy Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor Battlefield 1
As much as I wouldn’t want them becoming worse, they can still get some of my money from time to time
If you’re into story-driven RPGs, check out Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel.
Happy to see you enjoy it! Btw, if you haven’t found the tracks name, it’s name is Sugaan Essena by The HU. They’re a Mongolian throat singing band and contributed a few more songs in the sequels.
I did actually track it down afterwards! I ended up saving it to listen too because i really enjoyed it. I want to do a deep dive later on there tracks too. Hearing they’re an irl band is cool because it makes Cal’s comment feel a little meta
I really appreciate your posts. Many of our tastes overlap, but you have gotten very good at capturing the best angle of a game. Half the time I have to wonder; did I play the same game?
Thank you! It means a lot. I feel as if i stagnate in my preferences when it comes to camera angles (I prefer strong depth of field, low to the ground shots), but i took a photography class and learned some stuff i’ve been trying to apply. I think upgrading from a Steam Deck to a dedicated gaming rig definitely did miracles though for my screenshots though (No longer 720p, it’s now 1440p with usually medium to high and little to no FSR)
Really pretty game. Some of the gameplay got a bit repetitive for me and I got my butt whooped by the final boss.
I keep having to bring it down to Story mode for Bosses, i just can’t keep up with them
