    Ron Wyden co-authored Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act in 1996, which protects internet platforms from being held liable for user-generated content. It’s a big reason that the internet exploded in popularity. We may need to revisit and increase regulation since seeing what social media became, but he’s had a pretty great track record.

      Section 230 is an absolutely vital regulation that allows the internet to be free, getting rid of it would be horrible
