    like everything, “better” is relative. if they could simplify them enough not to be distracting during operation, that would be “better” imho. but as we have seen, theyre trying to shove ai into literally everything everywhere and it seldom benefits the user

      This has absolutely nothing to do with EVs. It is an issue with all new cars. That said, most of the newest EVs, at least in Europe, come again with real buttons and reasonable controls and with one pedal driving they are simpler to operate than ICE cars.

      In this case (EVs), we mean better efficiency, better practicality, better sound experience (no sound, so we get to choose from a blank canvas), better torque control, better safety, less consumption (Infinite petroleum pumping? Give me a break). Mostly all numbers than are objectively greater than ICE related numbers. Few cars, ICE or EV, have AI yet. AI is quite different than electrical propulsion. Another topic.
