Well, seems we have a deeply different perception of reality. It’s hard for me to understand yours without assuming hardly brainwashing or lying, but I don’t see a reason to discuss this as we won’t agree on that.

Russia is the part of the United Nations, as the official announced follower state of Soviet Union even a founding member and permanent part of the UN Security Council. And currently in Ukraine it’s violating many many rules of the UN Charta. Don’t come with ‚USA is Doing also!‘ because shit USA or anyone else is doing isn’t a reason to do the same or worse.

Some people in Ukrainian oblast wanted Ukraine to be part of Russia. That’s not a reason to invade. Neither in Ukraine nor other countries. I think almost every countries has parts of the population that wants to belong to another country or independence. That isn’t a justification to send troops to this country and and harm UN Charta.

And by the way: the international criminal court (ratified by 125 countries all over the world, also many from the global south) not just issued an arrest warrant because of war crimes against humanity and genocide for Putin but also for Netanjahu. I support both of them and think it should be common sense for anyone interested in human rights and peace. And downvoting me because of this tells a lot about yourself.

I’m neither lying nor “brainwashed,” the difference in analysis is because I am a communist, and am analyzing the situation with the world outlook of dialectical materialism.

As for Russia violating international law, Donetsk and Luhansk seceded from Kiev because of ethnic repressions against minority ethnicities in the Donbass region. International organizations correctly identified the neofascist nature of the new Kiev regime, as well as the war crimes committed against the Donbass region. In such a situation, do you think the DPR and LPR do not have the right to request Russian assistance in accordance with international law?

You’re being widely downvoted because you’re downplaying Kiev’s neofascism and essentially saying the Donbass region should accept being ethnically cleansed by Kiev. This is ridiculous, and you know it is, so you downplay the ethnic cleansing in order to protect your own image.

No you’re lying about what I say. I didn’t said anything of what you accuse me. I just say, that none of these reasons where a justification for Russia to attack Ukraine and kill people. And again your only point was „but someone else is doing so too“. Man, grow up. Communism doesn’t deserve such a bad reputation you provide.

I didn’t lie about anything, I’m merely extrapolating. If you think Russia is entirely unjustified in assisting the DPR and LPR against the campaign of ethnic cleansing from Kiev, then this is a clear value judgment on your part. I don’t see what you mean by “bad reputation,” how exactly am I contributing to that?
