A new record has been reached. And I feel like Saubnatica 2 and Forza Horizon 6 are partially responsible for this new peak. I don’t see anyone talking or posting about this new logged in users of Steam.
EDIT: Today it just got a new record again! A few hours after I posted this post, lol. To me stats and numbers are interesting. New numbers:

As said, other stores are free to install and yet they do not grow like Steam. Also people die every day and you assume that no one leaves or stops using Steam.
I will post and talk about new peaks and its interesting what discussions this brings up sometimes. Even this our very discussion how useful or useless it is is interesting to me. No one forces you to talk about subject you don’t care.

Just because I disagree with you does not make me angry. Or are you angry because I do not agree and assume others are the same? No need for personal attacks. I don’t know why you think I’m angry. The entire time you tried to tell me how useless it is to talk about this, and if I go to school or work and tell everyone about the population every day. Which is clearly a misrepresentation of what my post is, because 1. its not every day, 2. its a highscore peak of a subject we care

Celebration of things people care brings people together, which in turn brings topics to talk about; be it smalltalk or sometimes revealing interesting details. I’m doing this or responding to others posting this since years, even before Lemmy, on Reddit. It’s a fun topic and I was just surprised no one brought this time this specific peak number into a discussion yet. That’s all.
No one is angry, no one is mad, just having fun talk and discussion. Everything is fine. This is a fun topic and sometimes not everything needs to make sense for every one else. I give you the benefit of confusion or not able to communicate well and not bad intention. My hope was that we get to some peaceful end, but it didn’t work out. Have a nice day.
