I live cloae to two boarders and they often have some checkpoints where i live. They usually don’t pull me over, because… I’m white. But they always ask where i’m going and where i’m ckming from. It really annoys me for obvious reasons, and i usually juat tell them, because it’s uaually just: groceries and home. I don’t even know what the fuck they expect. Part of me juat wants to tell them that it’s none of their business, but i don’t want to give them a reason to actually pull me over, even tho i have nothing on me, i don’t drink or do drugs or smuggle anything. It would just waste my time. It’s such a dumb conundrum.

They’re “going fishing” trying to find probable cause to get you out of the vehicle and allowed to search you and it.
If you say you’re going to / from the bar? Well obviously you’ve been drinking, please step out of the vehicle.
I don’t always say “officer you don’t need that information” I just say something like “home/library” since it provokes the least amount of questions.
