I never understood those couples that break up and get back together all the time. Always just assumed anyone that does that is an idiot.
Honestly, monogamy and the relationship escalator is a curse.
Those people would likely be happier if they were just friends with benefits. Instead they have to start a new relationship, commitments, too much, break up, then miss each other and try making it work again, then fail as the relationship escalator demands more.
Yeah. Idk I think sometimes it’s just two toxic people who enjoy or are at least fine with the drama. But other times I’m sure you’re right too.
maybe, but if a relationship like that fits them better, together for a while, separate, back together… then what’s wrong with that?
I’ve never seen a couple that operates this way do so in a healthy manner that they seem happy with. Not saying it doesn’t happen, but I’ve never seen it.
