    Not always. For example, if I were “caught” eating pig meat in a Muslim country, I would probably be defensive. Without that actually meaning that I genuinely thought there were anything bad about eating pig meat.

    As an analogy, you can in theory be defensive about watching Joe Rogan without genuinely thinking there is anything wrong with Joe Rogan.

      A lot of people aren’t aware of most things.

      It’s a little different but there’s an artist who got caught with a teenager. Sucks cuz I loved his music but when other people find out I’ve been to their shows I usually bring that part up. Most people who listen to him don’t even know about it until I tell them. He just wasn’t famous enough for it to pop in everyone’s algorithm. People rely on tiktok, reels and shorts for most of their information. If it doesn’t trend for them then they don’t know about it. They also form opinions based off of their algorithm.

      It’s not everyone but a concerning amount.
