You clearly have a stereotype in mind. Anarchists come in all shapes and sizes and all walks of life. As an example, David Graeber was a level-headed, down-to-earth author, a respected academic, who wrote some incredible books which I all recommend (and they aren’t anarchist theory books, they cover various topics and are easy and fun to read)
Wild. When I think of the most sincere and well-argued people I’ve ever met, the two positions that come to mind immediately are vegans and anarchists. Are you sure you aren’t confusing anarchist political philosophy with the highschool tier / edgy teen perception of anarchy?
I don’t trust anarchists as far as I can throw an elephant anyway. Easier to just not engage people who almost never act in good faith.
