He seems to give Russia the benefit of the doubt quite a bit. Him being wrong about Russia not attacking Ukraine would be fine, but he’s been on the pessimistic side when it comes to Ukraine’s chances from what I’ve seen.
(I’m not saying the Ukrainian government is great, to be clear)
