Idk mate…They state pretty clearly that only Windows10/11 are supported as an OS. Supported being the key word here. Nobody forces you to comply with it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (Just don’t expect support when something doesnt work)

Maybe it could matter for MS store games as they are super overbearing with locking down the game folder with permissions for “TrustedInstaller” equal to linux superuser
I love how they don’t even mention they’ll lock out anyone who didn’t install it on an NTFS drive like every other Forza game.
Does the steamdeck use NTFS? That would seem like a very strange decision, and it does explicitly mention steamdeck support.

I believe that even if you’re running Windows, if you installed the game on an ExFat drive, it would refuse to launch.

Probably because it never happened. I take it you’re unaware that FAT32 has a file size limit?
