it’s not just about the microwave returning to clock function. It’s also about the microwave being returned to it’s normal standby state so that pushing the buttons functions as expected for the next person.
I don’t wear a watch, especially not while I’m busy in the kitchen
My phone is usually on my pocket, and it’s easier to just turn my head than to reach into my pocket, pull out my phone, and turn it on. And also wash my hands if, again, I’m doing kitchen stuff in the kitchen.
The microwave is in the kitchen, which is a different room than the living room.
Do you actually use your microwave to find out what time it is?
Uh, yeah, it’s got a built-in clock.
Mine does too but even though it (and my oven) tell the time I look at my watch, phone, or the dedicated clock in my living room
it’s not just about the microwave returning to clock function. It’s also about the microwave being returned to it’s normal standby state so that pushing the buttons functions as expected for the next person.
Does your stove not have a clock? They’re fairly standard now
Huh. That’s fair.
You sound way too reasonable. What’s the catch?
