Autistic and ADHD, Im a huge nerd who loves researching whatever interests me that day. My lifetime passions range from AI(actual AI, not LLMs. I was working on AI a decade before LLMs hit he market), programming, inventing, educating, futurism, tech, space, and for the last couple years bioengineering.

  • Its damned if you do, damned if you dont. Society simply doesnt care about men. Ive rpetty much stopped commentong on here because society makes me so damn depressed, i want to reach out to anyone but no one wants to hear it. Better yet, if i just “stopped being toxic”, the world would magically change to where people suddenly cared about not just me, but anyone other than themselves.

Idk man imma delete my account p soon. Theres nothing for me on the internet or in society. Once i get enough money together to get supplies taken care of, imma just try and distance myself from other humans.

  • Nah, it wasnt anything truly revolutionary. It was just some weird impedence effect we didnt fully understand how it was utilizing. AI doesnt really produce NEW stuff, but its really good at taking advantage of physics weve already worked out. Its not going to design a NEW chip, but it can pretty easily optimize existing chips or design a “new” layout that might be more efficient.

Do this is ALMOST an actual thing. Seems like this guy tried to use an LLM to do something useful, lol. Meanwhile actual scientists are using actual AI to design actual conputer chips that actually perform better than their human competitors. That being said, the new chips are not “end-to-end” AI, theyre designed by AI and a human does the final touches. Theyre also highly unique, i cant find the article now but their AI designed a chip that seemed to use extra parts, i remember there was a diode and transistor that were literally completely seperated from the traces of the rest of the chip, and yet they were functional pieces and the chip wouldnt work if you removed them.

  • I recommend everyone pirate every game to try it, and if you feel that it is worth the asking price then pay that,or donate more. I was playing factorio for probably 7 years before i bought it because i couldnt afford the game. That being said I did buy it, because it is a game that I have installed on multiple computers over the years. If I have to redownload your game launcher, I typically just buy it now. Before companies start trying to take advantage of this, if I have to uninstall your launcher because of a bug or enshittification the chances of me ever playing your gake again go down dramatically, damn near zero unless you gather cultural relevance for a decade.

  • Nah, i hate this move to name good stuff after horrible people. I get that Trump wouldnt like his name being attatched to it, but heres the thing: is trumps suffering more important than everyone elses suffering? Because by imortalizing his name into a project like that you are ensuring that future generations learn of his ideologies.

I want him to get kirked where his name just vanished from the history books. A small footnote that he was the least popular president ever, outside of that it would be so nice if I never heard his name again after like 3 months.

What really sells it for me is erika kirks reaction. I havent actually been following the whole situation as again i dont care about right wing grifters, but projecting myself onto erika i would feel devestated that my husbands memory literally lasted like a month. All that influence, all those lives ruined, and yet you left a grand total of 1 month worth of memes as the culmination of your entire life story, then you are forgotten. That, to me, is both the best “punishment” and more importantly the best way for the world to signify to these people that their ideologies arent tolerated. It sends a message to their family about what happens when you attatch yourself to a monster. It shows the world that even if you care about a grifter, the world does not.

I mean yes, I agree, but on the other hand teasing is a commonly accepted form of bonding. If youre dating someone, presumably you have the skills to communicate your boundaries and what you are and are not comfortable with. As such, if this is a problem, it will presumably be hashed out. If not, then you are getting up in arms over a non issue, and that would seem to be indicitive of you having some personal issues that you might want to work out.

This isnt to put you down or a gotcha, im genuinely concerned that this impacts you so heavily and am open to discussing it in pms if youd like.
