Nothing I’ve seen since this has suggested its any different. You might start by looking at articles from around the the time it happened. Anything you see later than a few weeks after it happened is being produced for the bias of whoever is writing it. They can’t charge him federally and its really got trump and them mad.

I was raised Christian and am still on the church’s equivalent of their rolls. I can also tell you I only have hate for the church. Your anecdote seems to imply no one can stop being Mormon?

Raised as a Mormon in a red state and people want to say he was not conservative. People are really stupid I guess.
They’re whole subs dedicated to people that have left Mormonism. The views ones parents hold aren’t strictly inescapable.
