    That version of ‘ai’ that solves stuff is usually rooted in more traditional computing methods and concepts of ai, than what theyre currently throwing money at, though.

      Not really. It’s still just a pile of linear algebra. That’s why it doesn’t think or reason or actually understand what it’s outputting.

      That’s why all this chasing by executives is a MASSIVE folly: The tech is literally incapable of doing what they think it can.

        I meant ‘traditional ai’ as in brute force, postman or pruned hueristics trees. Those predated the linear algebra approach. The latter hasnt produced a decent chess bot yet, though they do produce pics of naked people.
