You guys get tux on boot?
I don’t, but it sounds cute, tbh.
So far i’ve only seen it when looking at gentoo install videos. I’ve never seen it show up on any of the distros i’ve used.
My first impression of this was trying to work out when and why would we see Tux during boot
It’s a kernel compile parameter but most Linux distros have it turned off by default 😔
The only time I’ve ever seen it turned on was on my raspberry pi

What kinda heresy is this?

You mean Tux
Last thing I need is one of my servers freezing up and having to document a ‘frozen on eight anime girl error’
How slow are your machines that you see the boot screen?
How slow is your visual processing that you don’t?
use the C programming book that came with your socks to do it yourself. … although some weebs might have already?

https://nyarchlinux.moe/#downloadI’m sure this distro has something like that.
I’ve been using rEFInd for my dual boot and it shows a Tux, but that’s mostly cause I haven’t been tinkering with it. Now I’m tempted to use anime girl personifications of OSs instead, which would be really classy, I bet.
