    Half of these problems would be solved with a tagging system like on Reddit, then you could just block by tags

    I’m pretty sure PieFed rolled out a tagging system, but clients haven’t caught up yet

      That would depend on users following the tagging system. If Imgur is any indication, political posters will purposely not do that, because they think it’s their god-given mission to “spread awareness.”

        Idk bout imgur, but Reddit’s automod can be set to auto-remove untagged posts or human mods just remove them quickly since it’s a no brainer if it’s not tagged or tagged improperly

        You’re so right, and they are utterly self-defeating. By attempting to force people to engage, they’re having the opposite effect. People are disengaging instead, and I don’t blame them. We need our spaces for silly humor.

        Not if we had a system in place for users having the ability to submit tags and the mods to implement those tags.
