Lol, no. Why should I stop? The motherfuckers posting political shit are trying to influence it, too.

Because you’re a hypocrite and they’re not. You don’t want politics, yet you’re doing politics right now. Us normal people like politics, so it’s not hypocritical for us to do it.

Normal people like politics? Huh. That’s a new one. So I’m not normal, and all the other people who agree with me aren’t either. You’re being manipulative and judgemental at the same time, while falsey calling me a hypocrite for disagreeing with you.

If you like politics and memes, I have great news for you! There’s a community on Lemmy SPECIFICALLY FOR THAT called c/politicalmemes! Have fun!

Not liking politics is extremely weird. Normal people like to watch political movies like Star Wars and read political books like The Hunger Games. We listen to political music like Eminem and appreciate political art like Banksy. Normal people tune into political podcasts like Joe Rogan, even though it sucks, because they love politics. We play political games like Metal Gear, and some of us even spend our sundays worshipping political gods like Jesus. You’re weird for not liking political media.

You fit the ideological profile of the apolitical movement perfectly. You think media and politics can be separated, and you demand others conform to your vision of apolitical media. You claim not to like politics and express shock when confronted with the reality that most people aren’t like that. If you’re not an apolitical, you’ve been heavily propagandised by them.
