The first big meme competition I ever got excited about was back over on ytmnd[dot]com, whose name origin was of course Sean Connery in Finding Forrester inexplicably shouting, “You’re the man now, dawg!”
Damn, now I’m getting a vague memory of an edgier website in this vein, but I’m stumbling on the name. Steak and Kidney Pie or something?
Edit: it was steakandcheese[dot]com, which apparently went full porn at some point looking at discussions of it. And the reason I have a memory of it was that was my exposure to goatse.
Rest of original comment: Only real memory is that there was some really dark humour shit on it, and probably wasn’t the best browsing choice for 12-13 year olds when eBaum’s was right there.
