When people do that I’m stuck with whatever resolution the browser makes it, usually can’t see it. And this is on a 40" TV. Lemmy is broken in about 3 dozen ways.

You can surely just upload the picture to Lemmy? Then it’s immune to some corporation deciding not to host it any more five years from now.

A 40" TV is not expensive hardware lol. I have one in my bathroom. How much does your phone cost?
