          It’s very flexible and supports everything:

          • transparency
          • video
          • lossless It’s lighter weight than other file formats.

          The only downside is that it’s not supported by a lot of apps and websites (e.g. Instagram)

      It is though. So many websites have converted their embedded feeds ti show a webp version regardless of what you upload.
