The Tesla Roadster 2 drove up a curved ramp before using SpaceX rocket thrusters to fly, flip and land

So this article just popped up on my guardian feed…wild stuff. I’m not a fan of Musk but you gotta admit this is pretty interesting.

“I’m not sure it’s necessarily legal in all jurisdictions,” Musk said, adding that the prototype was “not necessarily a safety optimised car but it takes the fun meter to 11”.

    you would think it is mildly interesting at least.

    There’s no real world application for this and it’s not particularly entertaining, so yeah…it’s not that interesting.

    If it, you know, kept flying…now that would be interesting. Still wouldn’t buy one cuz I don’t give money to Nazis.
