Gen Z is now officially the only generation to measure lower than their predecessors in intelligence. A neuroscientist says this is because short videos and summarised texts are being increasingly relied on, but this is not how the human brain works.
Gen Z did nothing but grow up in the world made for them. Zero accountability indeed.
As did Gen X and millennials. Yet they don’t seem to have this built-in excuse to do no wrong.
Every generation seems to have the same excuse of it ‘not being their fault’, by and large they are accurate. Millennials didn’t cause the Great Recession, they lived through it. Gen Z didn’t cause COVID, they lived through it.
