Sandwich meat. For a European, is this ham?
AKA “luncheon meat”. Pre-packaged thin slices of various meats (ham, turkey, chicken, bologna, etc). Usually with too much salt and preservatives.
It’s similar to sliced meat from the deli (“deli meat”) but not as good. Both are mass-produced, but the pre-packaged stuff is more processed and not as “fresh”.
(I’m probably going to regret trying to answer a food question in good faith on lemmy. Sigh.)
If you knew what preservatives mean in French 😭😅 but thanks for the explanation!
The hock of ham starts out in a kind of plastic condom so not that far off 😂
lol you guys have prepackaged sliced meat in Europe. Such lemmy 😂

I used to get a slice of ham, put a chunk of pate in and then roll the ham up like rolling a tab and then wolf that down.
Yes, I was stoned
Damn dude. Leme eat in peace
When I was growing up I imagined a midnight snack as something vaguely coherent with at least a couple of ingredients
Years later, I know and accept the truth, it’s just ham
And still, even at night, you have someone to judge you.
