I’ve only heard of pegging in certain consensual situations. Does “pegging” mean something different in Australia?

My best guess is if you’re setting up tents or dining canopies, you’re not allowed to drive tent pegs into the nice lawn.
That makes sense. I usually refer to them as “stakes,” but I suppose they could be pegs, too.
