The scale of the wood grain looks odd for that to be a normal grain of rice

And I’m pretty sure the smallest chip in history has more than 16 leads, and would not be visible without a microscope

The smallest microcontroller definitely has fewer than 16 pads (not leads because they don’t make sense at this scale)

It looks quite right for the integrated circuit that is labeled as a “chip”.

What is it with the wave of sloppified memes, that are just worse than the original? What is their point?

Sometimes it’s easier to ask ai to recreate something you remember rather than finding the original one and reposting it 🤷‍♂️

That does not explain the heavy wave of such slop content in recent time, unless people have suffered from rapid mass dementia.

Probably soc media algorhytms give preferntial treatment to images with original hash sums, so LLM recreation gets built into the usual repost bot pipeline.

PLCCs like that do often have two indentations, on opposite corners due to the molding process. Doesn’t make this any less slop though.
