Final Fantasy VII Revelation director Naoki Hamaguchi has offered an explanation for why the physical disc version of the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox requires a download to play.
I had totally missed the news that the last part of FFVII remake wouldn’t get a functional physical edition. So disappointing! Especially in the last year of discs. Don’t see why it can’t be on 3 discs, or have been made with 2 discs in mind.
Not doing physical is a way bigger compromise to me than anything else they could have landed on.
