Veganism definitely has terrible PR. But we also have to be wary of cherry picking the extremists from a movement as representatives of the whole.
I’d like to be 100% vegan, I’m not but I try. We started with weekday vegetarianism and went from there. Moderation is absolutely effective, IMO.

You’ve got me thinking about how the distinction is what the incentive is. Still not black and white, but if you want to suffer because you have only personal enjoyment to gain and your needs are all met, that’s better than consenting to suffering to pay the bills.
I don’t see why it would be like that. Even if the chemical these were detecting was sky rocketing during miscarriage, the test should only have two lines worth of reagent (test and control) built into it. You don’t get more lines from high concentration. This looks like a misprint.
