Lmao
No. I’ve never even heard of that game design studio, and I’m pretty sure that if I haven’t heard of a game design studio, they’re not “big enough to be too corporate”.
I was simply commenting on a general practice during game development. A practice which revolves around a profit motive, not around the size of whatever corporation may be developing the game. I have, in my own past, as an independent game developer, encountered such difficult development, decision decisions, as how much of which budget to cut.
So, I’m not simply speaking out of general bullshit. I’m actually speaking from experience.
Do you have any other questions?
As game development budgets get cut, the first ones to go are the designers. It’s much easier to sell a game which doesn’t look great but still works than a game than looks great, but doesn’t work right. And the corporate assholes who are in charge of these game design budgets care only about one thing: sales. They couldn’t give a flying fuck if you enjoy the game, just that you bought it.
because every website got bought out by a major corporation which publicly executes its employees, every hour, on the hour, if their profit line stops going up
This is exactly what is so awesome and beautiful about independent software development.
No joke, this is actually the plot for an episode of Sherlock
They said sudo
I thought it was funny, and I usually don’t think these things are funny
You know, I find it quite annoying that hackers will choose a target like Steam rather than a force that’s actually evil in this world. Like, put your skills to good use at least…
