They all are. What happened is the result of a combination of rampant capitalism and for-profit healthcare. The system will continue to produce results like this, and most people will ignore when it happens to poor/minority/immigrant people.

Personally found Lost to be a tough watch after the fact, which takes points away. Same thing for a lot of comedy shows as well as some infamous ones like Game of Thrones.
