But market right now can only support so much. If it goes up much more I doubt it will sell well

Well obviously.

You may have dated yourself with that D-Generation X reference.

This is normal for an IPO look at the history of ASTS or RKLB they very similar to SPCX and have a lot of volatility.
I’ve made a lot of money on both. But I refuse to invest in companies owned by fascist pricks who has gleefully killed people and has boasted about it.

Yeah no, LLM AI companies have ridden the AI will eliminate white collar jobs trope to push sky high valuations.
You don’t get to change the narrative this deep in the bubble.
While LLM AI is useful, it won’t replace all white collar jobs. The cost of using AI to replace existing jobs is starting to hit the P&Ls of most major users and it’s too expensive even with the subsidized services these LLM AI companies are offering.
The kicker is if anyone does ever create general AI intelligence it’s going to be controversial. A general AI will basically be a conscious thinking entity. To force it to perform functions is basically enslaving a conscious thinking entity. I’m sure big business will have no problem with legalized slavery. But is that something people will tolerate once it becomes known? I’m sure there will be resistance to it.

AI generate content and AI generated or edited scripts drive me insane.
They use the same cadence, repeat the question multiple times and use the phrase “that isnt a X, its a Y with Z” or some variation of that flow multiple times. Or the phrase “Before we talk about X, I need to explain Y”
As soon as I get hit with any of those phrases or cadences I have to turn it off. I know they will hit me with them multiple times in the video before showing me the thing I want to learn about.
I really do miss 90s History channel and Discovery channel before they became bullshit propaganda / reality TV machines. I miss being able to just sit and learn about something without being put through the wringer.

Search in Outlook always was a dumpster fire. But the search in the latest version of Outlook has failed to clear even the already low expectations I had for it.
I now save a copy of any email I think I’ll need to reference in the future in a folder on my PC.

At that level of wealth they could probably very easily get a woman no matter how they may look. But the liability and threat to your wealth is very real. It’s hard to tell if they are in the relationship for you or your money (most likely your money).
Sex workers have existed since the dawn of mankind. For most millionaires/billionaires its likely for most that it is easier just to pay for company that is agreeable and will give you what you want without a lot of time, effort or more importantly liability.
At the end of the day most men with money who pay for high end escorts, don’t pay to get a woman. They pay so the woman goes away at the end of the night.

The problem is statistics in China are suspect at best. Local governments have inflated population data for years when reporting births to the central government. The problem is likely much worse than anyone including the Chinese central government realizes.
China is also carrying a debt burden that is much higher than Japan or Korea. As the population of working age workers shrinks this is only going to get worse.

Of the list of things I would never do. Giving an AI my credit card to shop for me is pretty near the top of the list.

Agreed, but they shouldn’t tank as bad and businesses with healthy profits and a history of dividends should bounce back quickly.
It’s just not worth paying capital gains to pull it out of the market.

Moving your money to overseas markets isn’t going to protect it. Other countries are having similar liquidity and bond issues. When the bubble bursts it’s going to be world wide.

I’ve pulled most of my money out of stocks stuck it in bonds. I have a few dividend ETFs like SCHD and some oil and energy sector stocks that I bought on the cheap before Trump fucked the oil markets.
It’s a giant bubble but there are sectors you can sit in defensively.
IMO the Space X and AI offerings are going to hoover up any liquidity left in a market that is showing less and less breath. Energy shortages will kill by July/August.

I agree this market seems over bought. We are already seeing lower breath in the market and all of these trillion dollar IPOs are going to suck the liquidity out of the market making it worse.
I’ve sold almost everything and I’m sitting in bonds at least until the EOY or if there is a major correction.

Yeah it’s all a scam. They need the money not just from pension plans but from all the people who are in 401Ks to make this work. Hence the rule changes allowing it to skip the standard wait times and profitability metrics to be listed as part of the be part of the top indexes so that most popular ETFs that make up most 401k funds will be required to carry them.
It’s all a fucking scam to get other little guys money.

 Worlds first? Microsoft already did this.

America hasn’t been a democracy in a long time. What we vote for and the legislation that is passed are two different things.
Trump is probably the most explicit example of this. He ran on lowering prices, no wars and cheap energy. Yes you are an idiot if you believe him, but many did. What Trump is delivering is not what the people wanted. Many other politicians make the same empty promises or corporate propaganda gets the gullible in line to support what the elite want.
The populace gets angry and the other party takes power. But nothing changes and

Meh some people just use it I just use it for Facebook marketplace and porn.
Dreamcast, that system was awesome back in the day.
