It follows a young Mary during the middle ages in a period known only as “The Anarchy”, right as her powers begin to manifest in chaotic and malevolent ways. Caught in a battle for crown supremacy, she empowers the wrong people[1] and plunges the British isles into a dark age of despair and bloodshed fueled by her own internal hatred and injustice at the world.
Taking place in snapshots of her adult life, she clashes with other forces who shape her outlook through the power of music into a beacon of kindness that she uses to undo the wrongs to the descendants of the people she once sought retribution against, over next near millennia.
