It’s people trying to make it so we blame old people for hoarding wealth instead of the people actually hoarding wealth. And when they call to start forcing boomers into camps or cut their healthcare to kill them, They think the rest of us will get our blood lust for justice satiated. And forget it wasn’t billionaires and the politicians they own who took everything from us.

While I agree that those hoarding wealth and power are the primary target, a lot of boomers keep voting for fucking fascists and refuse to acknowledge the leopards eating their faces.

So do people from all generations.

They have been fed capitalism propaganda their whole lives.

I’m not saying that makes them not responsible for their votes. What I’m saying is that people en masse can be and have been manipulated.

People in the future will blame us now for all the pollution and climate change.

        For fresh water loss.

They will blame these things on us right now. Why didn’t we vote to fix it?

But we know it’s not that simple. Often times , all politicians in an election are bought already. And those who aren’t, get less campaign money and get smeared in the media.

Even experiencing it right now , knowing it’s rigged. Knowing that votes don’t always matter much , people today still think the full blame goes on the voters of the time that had the exact same interferences as we have today.

I should have been more clear. I know they are being manipulated. I don’t blame them for everything.

I’m trying to acknowledge a justified and legitimate frustration, not discourage everyone from focusing on the real source of the problem.

Would you retire in this economy? Especially if you had prescription drugs that were keeping you alive amounting to 2k a month?

          Genuine question. Would you ?

Also. Not all boomers have a retirement fund. And social security does not pay out enough to live on.

My grandpa gets like 1200 a month or something.

A good chunk goes to prescriptions.

I don’t think they are talking about the average person. I think they are talking about those in leadership roles.
