    Unless you have isolated a single water molecule, it is in contact with other water molecules and therefore wet.

      Another line to take it is that if it cannot be made wet because it is wet by nature, water is the very concept of wet given form, so it is wet even if it’s what makes other things wet.

      Same way that light is bright.
