We were already tired of relying on the “cloud” and replacing a product you already had seemed wasteful to integrate into home assistant better, but its more tempting each day.
Exactly. It’s not 1B users, it’s 1B installs, and when it comes pre-installed or downloads itself then that number is completely meaningless.
