Following recent and repeated public reporting about artificial intelligence (AI) technology breaking outside of human control and creating potentially dangerous viruses, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) today urged America’s largest AI companies — Anthropic, Meta and OpenAI — to immediately pause their development of Artificial Intelligence.
Bernie you were supposed to see past the Big Tech propaganda for corporate capture, not consume and regurgitate it!
This is your brain on cult leaders , I guess.
I think overall his views are good but he’s an old guy and does not understand tech that well.
The last thing AI bros want is limitations, that brings in way less money from investors.
