The cut aluminum tends to bond to the disks, slowing them down, and making the disk slower. There are specific aluminum cutting disks that don’t clog, making the cut much faster. Just saying. Also, if using a reciprocating saw, keep the guard against the material, it’s there to prevent the blade from jumping when it snags.
