I don’t mind paying more if it makes sense, I have a few watches over $1,000 and half a dozen Tom Bihn bags that are like $300-$400 each but they’re actually amazing quality because they’re hand made in America. North Face is Chinese mass produced trash.
Down can be pricey but not that much :( they used to have a reputation for durability, I’m not sure how their stuff is now. Doubt it’s worth what they’re asking no matter how generously you try to frame it.
