Asian Tiger mosquitos bite 24/7 and are found in many parts of the USA and EU now sadly.

FML! It was well over 90 degrees farenheits last week and the flies were BITING!

I got nailed several times by one of the fuckers in my car until it escaped out the window.

It was just a regular black housefly. I had no idea they could bite. Like a needle stabbed into me.

At least the mosquito is relatively painless.

    Fuck biting houseflies.

Most likely a stable fly. House flies have sponge like mouth parts for soaking up liquid and are incapable of biting.

I had never heard of stable flies before. Here we have horse flies that are apparently similar but not the same species as stable flies.

Both are pollinators so I guess this is somewhat true, also mosquitoes are crepuscular but they are also active during rainy or cloudy days, maybe moreso if humidity is higher.

I like sleeping in the cold during winter, but you have to put so much more effort into going outside or you get sad.
