im glad england lost that match because it means one less night of screaming football fans in my neighborhood
sad tournament when argentina wins it
very rare umbrella L
between the alleged cheating (didn’t watch that tho), the zionist ties and the racism displayed by fans, it leaves kind of a bad taste. messi is among the best in the world at football, for what it’s worth.
Racism is too complicated and I’d like to make it justice if I talk about it to non Argentinians, I can try to extend myself on this topic later if anyone’s interested, but generally people being wildly toxic on social media doesn’t translate into much irl, or I’d go crazy having to live here.
People here also aren’t in favor of genocide, our president is, as are his bootlickers. In case someone doesn’t know, he didn’t win because people here love him with him or anything, we had two choices, either our previous president that had been widely unpopular as he didn’t do much and the pandemic hits us like a truck, or this crazy guy. Of course he was by FAR the worst choice, and if my fellow Argentinians were politically literate AT ALL they’d have seen it coming, but here we are. But that’s our failure as leftists too, we gotta educate people better and build networks so they start trusting us.
I feel bad for the people that can’t enjoy the spectacle. They played better and won, why hate on them?

what’s there to enjoy? it seems like yet another set of soccer games with a lot of hype.
You’re calling it soccer, there’s nothing I can say that will change your mind.
