When it came to GTA V, I wanted it. Oh, did I want it. Didn’t buy it for several years, then a friend gave me an Xbox 360 copy because he didn’t like it, then another several years later, having never finished the game, I ended up getting a PC copy for less than $10.

$10 feels like too much to give to Rockstar at this point.

Greed is why they stagger releases. They expect an insane amount of people to buy it both on console and pc. They just want to double dipp on as many idiots as possible.

Did anyone expect this game to be released at the same time for consoles and PCs?

Rockstar has literally never released a GTA game simultaneously on both platforms. The PC release has always been delayed by several months if not years.

The simplest explanation to me is that this way they get to double dip, since there will be people who buy it on Playstation, who will then also buy the PC version.

I wouldnt be surprised if it’s for double dipping but I also wouldn’t be surprised if they’re just fucking incompetent. They might not actually have the PC release ready. The last time the PC release came out after the console release it was broken as fuck.

I did a quick Google, and apparently GTA 1 came out on PC before it was released on PlayStation, and GTA 2 was released on PlayStation five days before it was released on PC (according to Wikipedia)

I guess I should have specified every release since GTA III

Rockstar became into existence during GTA1, they released mission packs for it then became the publisher generally before GTA2
