Yeah bud, maybe if you get just a little more money, you’ll finally be complete. Just a little more money…

There’s a Doom button on the task bar. I imagine it doesn’t work
Try:
man dd
I mean, there are definitely use cases where gui makes more sense. For example, utilities like GParted or KDE Partition Manager make messing with partitions much easier since they’re easier to deal with visually (imo)
It’s not even that complex, it just looks that way if you’re not used to using it
Yeah, man is clutch… I wonder if people would be so intimidated by CLI if everyone knew how easy it was to learn commands with man

Oh man, you got jabaited

Good on him, but I wonder if he would be doing this had the game been a success
Lol sounds about right.
Using Bazzite has made me appreciate distrobox. Very easy to access the aur from any distro these days…

Never used Mint, but Time Shift was a god send to me for about two years on EndeavourOS. My first two years on Linux. I was able to learn so much by not having to worry about breaking my install.
I rolled back more times than I can count without ever really encountering any issues.
Set it up to automatically take a snapshot before every update, and add the few most recent snapshots to grub. All automated and really easy to set up.
The fuck are you even talking about

Dude, 10 years ago was 2016… We’ve had affordable, consumer grade solar since the 90s at least. I don’t think people were questioning the viability of solar in 2016.
Fish is great if you can’t remember a specific command, or don’t want to type out long filenames/locations, but I dunno if I’d use it as the default.
I just type “fish” in the terminal if I ever run into a situation where I might get some use from it.
Ok, so understanding events = justification of those events now?
How does this even get upvoted, are people even reading this shit?

You don’t even need to search, just scroll down to the “references” section and read/cite them instead.

So Brave New World, only way stupider. No thanks.

Can’t even type out a coherent, properly punctuated comment.
You seem to think I’m trying to justify the Tiananmen Square
I did no such thing. I was just pointing out that the “restraint” by the tank drivers the following day is not at all representative of the actual massacre
Do you actually know what happened at Tiananmen Square?
Tank man was the day after. The night before, they turned a massive student protest into a slurry that they pushed into the sewers. There was no shame.
