Not even just the lot rent. Eventually some pin-dicked investor type is going to buy the place, jack up the rents and kick everybody out. Good luck moving your “mobile” home.

Looked at trailers with how cheap they are, then learned there’s a monthly lot rental. 🤦♂️ may as well just buy a cheap house at that point.
Thats why i bought land with a trailer on it. No lot rent but there is a mortgage.
Some lot rent is crazy.

There are some mobile home retailers that will sell you a “land-home package”. So you can have a new house on a couple of acres. I almost did that.
