B Yeah there was a guy who made a type of code, sold it, and then couldn’t get a job working on his own code because everyone did this wanting 5+ years on something released a month prior.
It’s so they can have job listings out and be able to claim the jobs exist for clout while ensuring no one will take/get the position.
They do it with all kinds of things, and then either say you don’t have the experience or if you play their game and say you have the experience they call you overqualified.
Lots of those job listings have less connection to the actual department that’s recruiting than would be expected. Lots of room for miscommunication and also just bullshit.
