    I like that the more expensive options just give you more storage and bundled in stuff, so you can just pick the cheapest option and upgrade yourself later on.

    A bare bones version without RAM and storage would’ve been interesting price-wise for people who happen to have parts lying around IMO.

      yes but if you can DIY then that beats the purpose of console like PC which you can just plug in… at that point only the form factor may appeal to you but at the same time you’re unlikely to DIY with this kind of form factor for less

        Fair, but if you want a Steam Machine than it would be a nice way of maybe saving a couple of hundred dollars initially.
